plants.
-Condensation: the process by which water vapor in the air is changed into liquid
water.
-Precipitation: Is any liquid or frozen water that forms in the atmosphere and falls
back to the Earth.
-Infiltration: is the movement of water towards the ground from the surface.
-Percolation: is the movement of water through the ground itself
and answer 2 questions:
What is the difference between Infiltration and Percolation?
The terms infiltration and percolation are often used interchangeably, however
percolation specifically refers to the movement of water within the soil, while
infiltration refers to water entering the soil surface.
What is the difference between Evaporation and Evapotranspiration?
is that evaporation is the process of converting a liquid to a gaseous state while
evapotranspiration is the transfer of water from the earth's surface to the atmosphere
by evaporation, sublimation and transpiration.
