CONTEMPORARY TOPICS-1: BLOCKCHAIN QUIZ INSTRUCTIONS

Weightage: 50%

Timings: 14 August 2021, 16:00 – 17:00 hrs (60 minutes)

 Please also ensure to have a working webcam and microphone, as there will be live
audio and video monitoring during your course of the quiz.
 Before starting the test, please close all chat windows, screensaver, pop-ups/
updates, etc., and ensure that you have a stable internet connection.
 You must ensure that you have a stable internet connection, including a hotspot as
backup, if necessary. The minimum network speed for Mettl to work is 512kbps. Also,
ensure that your computer is fully charged or has battery backup ready. Power
outage is not a legitimate excuse.
 Keep a backup machine ready in case of crashes. Do your part to be prepared for all
situations.
 Please only TYPE your details in the registration form and do not copy-paste.

PLATFORM:
 The quiz will be conducted on the Mettl platform.
 The quiz link will be active at 16:00 hrs sharp.

QUIZ PATTERN:
 The quiz contains 29 questions.
 The quiz consists of True/False questions and MCQs.
 The maximum mark that can be obtained is 50.
 There is no negative marking.
 All questions are mandatory.
 The quiz carries 50% weightage of the final course score.

 You cannot communicate with anyone else for the duration of the quiz. Any
violations will be strictly investigated. 

OTHER TEST INSTRUCTIONS:


 Do not open any other application or use any other software application. This action
is a potential honor code violation. It includes external calculators and MS Excel.
 No snapshots or image submissions will be considered for the evaluation.
 All questions need to be answered to score full marks on the quiz.
 Usage of pen & paper is not allowed.
 This is a closed book, closed notes quiz. Referring to any material, local or online,
during the quiz is not permitted and will be considered a potential honor code
violation.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
 Ensure that your entire face is visible to the camera and there is ample light in the
room. You will be prompted by the proctor and prevented from continuing your quiz
otherwise.
 During the quiz, you are not supposed to browse the internet, any electronic devices
like mobile phones, tablets, etc. You and your computer are being monitored. Every
deviation from quiz norms is reported and will attract further investigation into your
answers. Any suspicion of ISB honor code violation can lead to severe consequences.
 No snapshots or image submissions will be considered for the evaluation.
 Do not read the questions loudly.
 Late submissions through email will not be accepted.
 The quiz is entirely self-explanatory. The academic associates or faculty will not be
able to answer any questions during the quiz. If you think something is incorrect or
feel something needs to be clarified, assume, and proceed. Please make sure that
you clearly state any assumptions you make.
 Before going for a bio-break, please inform the proctor on the chat and message
again when you resume.
 Keep a check on your proctor chat window. We try to reach you only for important
