(iv) by any improper means whatever obtain, or seek to


obtain, advantage in the Examination; give or endeavour to
give assistance to other students by having or seeking access
to unauthorized information or material, or by copying or
attempting to copy from, or by communicating or attempting
to communicate with an examiner or any other person
during the time appointed for an Examination or with an
examiner about the Examination until the official results are
published;

Consequences of Withdrawal from the Course

1. equivalent of 3 years of full-time study (180 ECTS)

Changes to the Undergraduate General Regulations are NOT
applicable

- Students should sit for exams when these are due;

- Level playing-field for the ranking system for entry into the
Foundation Programme; and

- to maintain the quality and standard of the M.D. Course


Basic Life Support (BLS)

- mandatory for all MD4 students;


- during Semester 2;
- on a Saturday;
- timetabled within MDS4016 Family Medicine;
- continuous and not additional assessment;
- certification is valid for 3 years and is endorsed by Malta
Resuscitation Council;

- exemption possible: terms and conditions apply


Basic Life Support (BLS): Exemption Procedure

- BLS certificate should be valid by July following MD5;


- First Aid certificates cannot replace BLS certificates;

- original and 2 photocopies to be presented at the Helpdesk;

- requests for exemptions after 30NOV19 are NOT accepted.


Ranking

Students may apply for:

- Foundation UK only (following JUN results); or

- Foundation Malta only (following SEP results); or

- both;

a. Establish student’s year average:


Results of each year from MD1 to MD4 +
total /60 = Avg of each year

b. Establish student’s average over 4yrs:

total /4 = student’s overall overage

c. Overall average of all students in deciles
