Courses 2021-22 for New students.

ONLINE ADMISSION SCHEDULE FOR NEW STUDENTS FOR

ONGOING UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE CLASSES FOR THE
SESSION (2021-22)

Online Admissions of new students (those who were not on the rolls of this college
for the session 2020-21 and also those who are migrating from other
colleges/universities) of 3rd and 5th Semesters of Undergraduate classes
(BA/BSc/B.Com//BCA/BBA) B.P.Ed.3rd, 5th & 7th and 3rd Semester of PG Classes
(MA/MSc/M.Com/M.P.Ed.) will be held on 12th August 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. subject to availability of seats in each course.

All the New students are required to apply at DHE Chandigarh Administration
website www.dhe.chd.gov.in under New Student category only starting

Procedure to Apply Online (New Students)

Checklist for Filling Online Application Form

1. The applicants are required to keep the below listed information/documents ready
before filling the form:
a. Lower qualifying examination details.
b. Scanned passport size photo of the applicant (not more than 50kb)
c. Scanned signature of the applicant (not more than 50kb)
d. Scanned Copies of Testimonials/Documents
e. Email Id of the applicant (compulsory) and Email Ids of the parents
(optional)
f. Telephone Number/Mobile Number of the applicant and the parents
(Applicant will receive acknowledgement of the filled Online Form
through sms on student mobile number)
g. Complete particulars of local Guardian in case of Hostel applicant.
h. Applicant’s Bank Name, Account Number, IFSC Code of Branch and
Aadhar card number (If allotted)

2. An applicant can apply online only through the DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in .
There is no offline mode for submission of application form.
3. Candidate will be asked to select the college (select Post Graduate Government
College, Sector-11, Chandigarh)

4. Every column of the online application form should be completed carefully.

5. You are required to upload the marksheets of results of all previous semesters’
examinations and provide the consolidated results in the relevant column in admission
form.

6. The Admission form has separate columns for mother's name and father's name which
should be mentioned in all the records. However, in case the applicant does not wish
to declare the name of mother or father, he/she may mention name of either father or
mother.

7. Give the full form of Board/ University from which the last examination has been
cleared. Example : Punjab School Education Board instead of PSEB

8. For admission, fraction of marks less than the requisite percentage shall not be
rounded off to the advantage of the candidates i.e. 32.9%,39.9% and 49.9% shall not
be rounded of to 33%,40% and 50% etc.

9. Students seeking Hostel Admission must fill the relevant column in the online
Admission Form. However the hostel seat will be given on merit and as per the
Guidelines/SOPs issued by the Government of India and Chandigarh
Administration from time to time.

10. The admission will be based on merit, which will be calculated on the basis of marks
obtained in qualifying examination and subject to availability of seats in each course.

11. The applicant should note the Application Form No. generated after online form
submission.

12. The admitted students would find FEE PAYMENT (GOVT COLLEGES) Tab at the
DHE website www.dhe.chd.gov.in for depositing the fee online which is required to be
paid within 24 hours of date of admission.

13. The admission would be provisional and will be subject to rules and regulations of
Panjab University/Chandigarh Administration.
