The second reason why smoking should be banned is that it
affects other people. Although the smokers’ freedom is
restricted because of the prohibition, the other way is also
preventing other people the freedom to breath in fresh air.
People nearby have no choice but to inhale the air that a
smoker exhaled. This is even worse if the place is not well
ventilated. Imagine yourself standing in a bus terminal
waiting for the bus and the one next to you smokes until the
bus arrives. There is no wind and all you can breathe in is
smelly and irritating air.
In conclusion, smoking should be banned in all public places,
both indoor and outdoor, because it is putting everyone's
health at risk and other people are affected by smoking.11:44 we
