Q1. What is waste?

Ans. Wastes are materials or substances that

i) Are no longer needed


ii) Have become useless
iii) Are meant to be thrown away.
Example: fruit and vegetable peels

Q2. List different types of wastes

Ans. Wastes can be classified into 2 types:
