Blue, the color preferred by almost everybody, is one of the most calming colors – exactly the
opposite of red: it does not agitate people. Its purpose is to make buyers clear their mind, sit back
and give them the impression that they have enough time to reflect upon anything

Red is a powerful color that attracts one’s attention immediately. It is usually used to
give the impression
Black is a paradoxical color because on one hand it implies classiness, strength and authority,
but on the other hand it can be intimidating and even quite frightening, used in large doses
Artists use colors to create depth. Warm colors such as reds, yellows, oranges, and red-violets
associated with the sun project toward the viewer. Cool colors such as blues, blue-greens, and
blue-violets that are usually associated with bodies of water appear to recede into the distance

Color may be the most important tool artists can use to express themselves, share their beliefs, convey
a message and transform viewers intellectually and emotionally. Claude Monet exclaimed, “Color is
my day long obsession, joy and torment.” The artist repeatedly painted the same subject at different
times of day and in different weather conditions
Q3)

Blue evokes feelings of peacefulness, authenticity, spirituality and sincerity. Since blue is a suppressant,
it’s best used in drinking environments vs. dining environments, as it evokes a feeling of thirst.
However, blue can be used effectively with food when trying to signify freshness, like with seafood or in
nautical-inspired environments. The key is to pair the color blue with a lot of neutrals, like brown, beige
and white. Blue is also probably best used when minimizing calorie consumption is the underlying theme
of the menu.
