ABSTRACT
This research was conducted to know how the students care for the cleanliness of
their environment most especially in each of the shop, which focuses on the Grade Nine

gathering the data, the researchers used structured and online questionnaire. The data
were analyzed using statistical tool treatment. Based in the data presented the results
showed that the students can do their activity properly if the surroundings are clean,
having cleanliness can also help the students to maintain their safety. Another result
showed that the Grade 9 (29th batch) students developed their self-discipline upon
knowing the risk and danger in the shop. After the researchers formulated the theme and

INTRODUCTION
Every year there is an innovation that is made this innovation help all the people
to do better than they had before. The researcher is developing something. This
something is Magnetico 20 is used to collect the metal chips in the machining shop. The
researcher came up with this name because this innovation has a functioning part that is
made up of magnets. While 20 come from the year 2020 because the researcher started
this research on the year 2020.” Many modern technologies rely on the use of permanent
magnets to reduce weight owing to their density of magnetic energy Neodymium Iron
boron magnets are among the strongest permanent magnets currently available" [ CITATION
Wul17 \l 1033 ].
At this present time, some shops have a hard time collecting metal chips. Metal
chips are the small particle of the metal that is taken off by the workpiece. Metal chips
can cause some injury and also these metal chips can enter some narrow area places that
are hard to be collected by the use of soft/stick broom is the traditional way in collecting
the metal chips, yet this method can’t collect the metal chips truly.” Metal is removed as
carried out using basic and oblique cutting models” [ CITATION Ste16 \l 1033 ].

In the machining shop, many problems need to be solved one of these is all about
collecting metal chips. Metal chips very little but they can cause great danger. The
researchers observed that many metal chips are scattered on the floor. That even the soft
broom and stick broom have a hard time collecting these metal chips. “It is known that
one of the main issues of heat in complex design air-heating collectors is the problem of

In this study, the researcher integrated the quantitative research methods. The
quantitative research method, particularly the comparative research design was used to
compare the old method and the invented product which is the Magnetico 20. The
information defined from the study utilizing the significant difference of the two
variables used.

incorporated for the improvement of the instrument. The instrument was then content
validated by our practical research teacher. Comparative is a more appropriate design for
this research because the researchers will compare the old and new methods. The old

The main objective of this study is to know the level of satisfaction of 29 th batch
in cleaning the metal chips in the shop by the use of the old method which is soft/stick
broom and the new method which is the Magnetico 20 in the Sister of Mary School-
following question: 1.) What is the level of satisfaction of 29 th Batch on the soft/stick
broom method of cleaning metal chips in terms of durability, ease of use, accessibility,
cleanliness, reduction of waste, safety and resolving the problem in the shop. 2.) What is
the level of satisfaction of 29th Batch on the Magnetico 20 method of cleaning metal chips
and resolving the problem in the shop. 3.) Is there a significant difference on the level of
satisfaction of 29th batch on the use of the soft/stick broom method and Magnetico 20 in
research selects all the machining major of the 29 th batch both morning and afternoon

After the analysis the researchers found out that there is a significant difference
between the soft/stick broom and Magnetico20 method in cleaning the metal chips in the
shop, in which the hypothesis is rejected since there is significant difference between the
two methods. It is clear stated in the analysis that the level of satisfaction of 29 th batch on
waste, safety and resolving the problem in the shop. Magnetico 20 is more satisfactory

The Sisters of Mary School-Boystown, Inc.,
Greetings of Peace!
In partial fulfillment of our requirements for our subject Practical Research II, we the
researchers of Grade 11-I students would like to ask for permission to conduct a research
study about the implication in collecting the metal chips using Magnetico 20.
In connection with this, we would like to ask your good office to allow us to conduct our
research study in our school. Our respondents are the Grade 9 machining students (29 th
batch). Rest assured that the data we will gather will remain absolutely confidential and
to be used in academic purpose only. We believe that you are with us in our enthusiasm
to finish the requirement as compliance for our subject and to develop our well-being.
