the leader and his/her job.
Discuss: Ask them who the leader of
your family? Who is the leader of your
school? Why is it important to have
leaders in communities?
Explain: Let them understand what a
leader is and what a leader does.
Explore: Ss take notes on how they
understand a leader.
Introduce: Ss watch a video: Leaders
Instruct: Introduce the words (mayor,
government, governor, president). Ss
take notes.
Reading: Ss read appropriate section
from the text book.
Practice: Display the following
questions to guide their reading: Who
is a mayor/ governor/president?
