Scanner is capable to measure the RP in SSB
level, the plot on the left indicate that the
signal is relatively low along the drive route.

EMF analysis result made by the based on SSB

RP(SSRP or PSRP) distribution which can
extrapolated for the maximum electric field
strength estimation.

The extrapolation factor for the maximum E-

field strength can be derived depends on 5G
NR air interface parameters set.

The best beam RP can be chosen for the maximum

electric field strength calculation and analyzed the
distribution of EMF along with measurement points
for 5G NR base station.

Adding Extrapolation Factor
Maximum E-field strength (V/m)
𝐸asmt = 𝐸SSB × 𝐹ExtBeam × 𝐹BW × 𝐹PR × 𝐹TDC

Easmt is the extrapolation E-field;

ESSB is the E-field of the measured SSB beam;
F extBeam is the extrapolation factor corresponding to the ratio of the EIRP
envelope of all traffic beams to the EIRP envelope of the broadcast signal at
the direction to the measurement location (see B.5.5);
F TDC is the technology duty cycle;
F PR is the power reduction if the actual max. approach is used, otherwise it is
set to 1;

FBW is the total number of subcarriers within the carrier bandwidth.
