DO’s
1. Plan activities for school children to teach safety (e.g. child abuse, fire etc.)
2. Plan and implement parent education activities.
3. Teachers should always be aware of the daily activities/schedule of their pupils.
4. Be a good model and example in words and in deeds.
5. Every teacher is obliged to come to school early and regularly.
6. Show love and affection, advice, understand and respect the rights of each pupil.
7. Teachers must always integrate values education in every learning area.
8. Always observe proper dress code.
DON’TS
1. Neglect in the performance of duty

1. Pupils shall respect the rights of others and refrain from committing acts of bullying and
peer violence.
2. Parents shall be actively involved in all school activities or events that raise awareness on
children’s rights, positive discipline and the prevention of bullying.
3. Teachers should not be imposed corporal punishment on any child for the purpose of
discipline or training.
4. Parents, Pupils and Stakeholders shall be oriented on the Child Protection Policy.
5. Strangers or unfamiliar people are not allowed to come inside the school premises
without permission from higher authorities.
6. Establish a Child Protection Committee to review or resolve violence against children in
school.
7. Teachers will always monitor the activities and schedules of their pupils in school.

1. Children should come to school early but not earlier than 15 minutes before the
class begins.
2. Keep surroundings and classrooms clean and safe.
3. Do not bring sharp objects or deadly weapons to school.
4. Observe proper attire. Wearing of school uniforms is encouraged.
a. Boys: Do not wear boxers
b. Girls: Do not wear sleeveless, mini-skirt and shorts.
5. Always follow the pathways wherever you go.
6. Walks slowly, do not run.
7. Come to school regularly and on time. No cutting of classes.
8. Observe good manners.
9. Stealing is not good; do not get anything if it is not yours.
10. Do not fight. Love one another. Be happy and considerate.
11. Greet and respect teachers and other school personnel.
12. Practice honesty at all times.
13. Ask permission to any of the teachers when strangers or unfamiliar people come to
talk to you.
14. Immediately report any violence that happens. The CPC will make appropriate
possible solutions to solve the problems.
15. Do not say bad words.
16. Pupils are not allowed to go outside the school compound during class hours and
recess time.
17. Parents’ attendance during meetings and Quarterly assessment of achievement is a
MUST.
18. Be a God-fearing.
19. Be a responsible learner.
