 VALUE ADVANTAGE® LIFT ROD SUPPORTS
NNA is pleased to announce the launch of Value Advantage® lift rods for hood, trunk, and rear hatch. The
first release is available now with the second release available in January 2020. This first release coincides
with the addition of lift rod inspection on the print and digital multi-point inspection forms.
The lift rods are sold individually in consumer friendly clear clamshell packaging but we always recommend
that lift rods be offered to owners in pairs.
DON’T FORGET: Lift rods are prone to fail in cold weather so stock up for the winter season.
- Heavy Gauge Steel Body For Long Life – Electrostatically painted and heat cured to original
equipment specification.
- OEM Grade Temperature Compensation Module Valve – Ensures consistent operation even in extreme
weather conditions by compensating for normal gas pressure changes caused by temperature variations.
- Self-Cleaning Piston Assembly – Automatically opens during each compression cycle to keep orifice clear
of fluid contaminants and provide smoother operation and more reliable performance.
- OEM Grade Rubber O-Ring Piston Seal – The most effective type of hydraulic seal helps prevent fluid
leakage around the piston, forcing the fluid to pass efficiently through piston valving components,
providing controlled lift and consistent performance.
- Specially Engineered Upper Bushings – Manufactured with bearing quality precision to provide exact fit
with piston rod and promote longer operating life.
- Hardened Nitrate Plated Steel Shaft – Precision ground and polished for superior corrosion resistance
and leak-free sealing.
