Capulet: Welcome, gentlemen! Ladies, whose legs are ready for dancing, ah ha,
my mistresses! Which one of you all will now want to dance? The one that is
pretty and shy. Can I come near you now? Welcome, gentlemen! I remember the
day that I have worn a mask. It’s gone, it’s gone, and it’s gone! You are welcome,
gentlemen! Come, musicians, play. Make room! And dance, girls, Dance!
Music plays, and they dance.
Bring more light servants; and move the tables out, and put out the fire; the room
has got too hot. No, sit, no, sit, good cousin Capulet; for you and I are this is past
our dancing days; How long is it now since you and I were last in a mask?
Cousin Capulet: By our Lady, 30 years.
Capulet: What, man! It’s not that long! It’s not that long! It’s since the wedding of
Lucentio. Pentecost need to come as quickly as it will, it’s been twenty-five years
since we danced together.
Cousin Capulet: It’s more. His son is older, sir; His son is thirty.
Capulet: Will you tell me that? His son was under twenty-one two years ago.
Romeo: [To a Servingman] What lady is that, which makes the hand of a knight
win a battle and give him luck.
Servingman: I don’t know sir.
Romeo: You the one that makes me light up, the beauty filled with laughter and
might. I can offer you my heart because you are a beauty I have met tonight.
Tybalt: Over there, it’s a Montague! Hand me the baseball bat boy. Let’s kick his
bum.
Capulet: What’s going on? Why do you think that?
Tybalt: Bro, this is a Montague, Our biggest enemy. He came here to take over the
meal.
Capulet: Romeo? No he won’t.
Tybalt: It’s him, the enemy, Romeo.
Capulet: Chill dude, leave him alone. That gentleman is trying his best, he is well
mannered. It would not be fair to take the opportunity of him and her. If you
respect me, respect them and let everyone enjoy their feast.
Tybalt: No, that’s not what I think. I will not respect that pig.
Capulet: He will be respected. He is such a good boy, and finally, who is the
master here? You will make me feel pleasant near my guests. If you embarrass me
just once, I will have to hurt you.
Tybals: But uncle, it’s such a shame, why won’t you let me get him knifed?
Capulet: Oh come on you stiupid boy, go get a life and be quiet. You are so
annoying that you make me get goosebumps. Just go away, be patient and enjoy
your life before I will have to hang you.
Tybalt: Patience makes my flesh tremble. I will give up just on this ocassion but i
promise you, I won't on another.
They Exit.
Romeo: When I touch your hand I can see a spark, my heart touches your heart,
and our lips smoothly touch each other.
Juliet: Your manners are to wealthy for magic, and the time we are in is just
tradgic.
Romeo: Lets get on with it then, no time to waste, lets run away into some far
land and make the best out of our life.
Juliet: Your just silly, a funny man. My parents would kill me and so would yours.
Romeo: I'm tough, I don't panic, life is wild and and really hard.
They kiss.
You are the beautiful light in my heart,
Filled with passion, love and very strong might,
That can guide you to an end or a start,
But even into a very big fight,
