Value Proposition
► Our 2 Novel SIS elastic film polymers Vector® DP-4258ND and DP-
4359ND target customers who focus on extrusion and laminating
competence without bothering about compounding or
sophisticated in-line blending
► The single polymer (pellet) approach preferred reduces purchasing
complexity
► Our new products are uniform free flowing dense pellet that extrude
into a highly elastic film with low odor at stable defect & low waste
run rates – for both, cast- and blown film extrusion(co-extrusion)
► Our product will deliver those advantages and benefits due to our
clean polymerization and proprietary 2-stage finishing technology at
our Nantong SIS unit with superior Quality Assurance
► Our free flowing pellets are be available in semi-bulk (big bags, boxes)
packaging, with tight sales specification and broad food
compliance status.

Oblique tear

 4211N & DP-4359N have same oblique failure mode and 100% failure rate. (same
to 4111ND(70%) & LDPE (30%)
 Tear strength of DP-4359N are low than 4211N, but high that 4111ND & LDPE
formulation. Film broken production risk is relative low.

Modified PP usage in IV bag
• SEBS modified PP usage in IV bag:
Market trend – Switching from glass bottle to plastic bottle
and from PVC to polyolefin based
Requirements:
Transparency
Resistance to sterilization(Steam: 121℃ 20~30min)
Flexibility and low temp impact
Resistance to different fluids
Heat sealability(150℃~170℃ 1~2sec)
•Technology – Multi-layered co-extrusion film, cast & blown

Outer layer(printing layer)

 Main material: pp+SEBS
200μ  Requirements: heat stability, scratch
resistance, printability
Mid layer
Example of IV  Main material: pp+SEBS
bag made  Requirements: flexibility, clarity
through co-
extrusion film
Inner layer(sealing layer)
 Main material: pp+SEBS
 Requirements: low seal initiation temp, high
seal strength
Summary
► Novel SIS polymers enable increased performance elastic films
with high modulus & low hysteresis achieved without
compounding or dry blending
► Cast and Blown film compatible
► SEBS polymers allow coextrusion of adhesion layer for surface
protection films
► SBS/SIS polymers impart toughness and broad adhesion to Tie
Layer Resin formulations
► MAH-graft SEBS provides multi-functional tie-layer resin with
built-in compatibilizer for recycling of multi-layer packaging
film
► SEBS polymers help to coextrude plasticizer free film for
medical fluid bags
