2. Identify a topic that you could use to research on as an essay topic for this unit. There are no
restrictions. You can select a topic you are interested in, or one that is linked to your degree
major or both.

3. On one page: Design a title (one line), topic (one line), and thesis statement (no longer than
paragraph)

4. Submission information:
a) This work is to be completed independently
b) Due date: June 15th, 2020
c) Type and submit via portal
d) Include TITLE page
e) SAVE work in MS WORD/PDF AS: UCC 102 Your Admission Number
(Do not save work by name of the lecturer)

5. Total mark allocation: 20 marks.
