INT. ROOM – DAY

SFX: Heart Beat
NARRATOR
Shechinah is arguing towards herself if she’ll fast this
coming first Sunday or not.

SHECHINAH
Should I fast tomorrow or not? (Confused Gesture)

MYCAH
You should not! (Devilish Smile) It will make you
suffer from hunger and thirst.

LEAN
Yes, you should. (Angelic Smile) It will strengthen you
faith.
MYCAH
Nonsense! All of us will die! (Angry) Don’t stress
yourself Shechinah! Instead of fasting, just do fast
eating.

LEAN
Listen Shechinah, your Fast has a purpose, and it will
bring forth blessings into your life.

BGM: Peace in Christ (instrumental)

NARRATOR

Shechinah prayed.
SHECHINAH
(Breath Heavily) I’ve made up my mind. I will fast this
first Sunday. (Courageous Smile)

DARREN
It’s Sabbath Day!
The window is open, so’s the door.
I didn’t know they did that anymore.

Good morning, Brother James! How are you?

ADRIAN
I’m good Brother Dino. Honestly, I was on an
emotional roller coaster this week.

DINO
What happened?

FLASHBACK
INT. OFFICE – DAY

ADRIAN (V.O.)
On an early Saturday morning, I just received my
salary and was securing money for my tithes and
offerings.

ADRIAN
Got my salary! Now let me get the 10 percent of my
income. How could this day go worst?

Aldeon call Adrian in the phone.

ALDEON

ADRIAN
What happened?

ALDEON
 Sir, the electricity got into low voltage and so the
appliances were broken.
ADRIAN
Have you called the repair service?

ALDEON
Yes, Sir. And they said it would cost us 200,000 pesos
to 350,000 pesos to repair the damage appliances.

Adrian is very disappointed and angry because of what happened.

ADRIAN (V.O.)
I was confused for a moment because my money
would be short if I would pay my tithes. But—

ADRIAN
(Sigh) Tithe comes first no matter what!

Wow! That’s really a tough challenge Brother, but I
am happy you’ve made the right choice. But, what
happened to the damage appliances? Is it already
fixed?

ADRIAN
Well, last night a friend of mine called and told me
that he would pay his debt. That’s how I then paid for
the repairs.

PRINCE
Goodmorning! Let’s take our seats Brothers, the
