Alonso. This article is mainly about the reasons for many students’ struggling to
adapt to the working life. Firstly, the patterns in school are more predictable,
however, consistency is out of the norm at the workplace. Secondly, a lot of
graduates are not familiar with critical thinking and decision-making skills. That
students concentrate on testing has hindered them from analyzing information and
solving problems. Thirdly, many graduates have difficulties with teamwork. On
account of being evaluated individually in school, students might be overwhelmed
in a collaborative environment. Hence, some solutions are mentioned to help
graduates to be well-prepared, including internship, teamwork and developing
writing and public speaking skills.
