The passage is about the interrelationship between linguistics and mindset and
how children form the thought of language. The author begins by claiming that the
connection between language and thought is crucial but complicated to explain.
These two aspects are disassociated in the early phases of life, as the kid think
before he pronounce words. This leads the author to say that thinking is the
predecessor of language. Next, the way children use the language is discussed.
People who speak phonologically at a tender age hardly apply the adults’ modes.
Moreover, youngsters obtain forms of thought beyond the scope of their
knowledge in order to acquire language, which is a type of pseudo-thought.
