Role
Business Analysts are expected to learn and apply data science, statistical and business intelligence tools
(e.g. SAS, SQL, Python and Tableau), to generate insights for decision making in functional areas (e.g.
marketing, pricing, risk, fraud, etc.) across various client industry verticals (banking, insurance, healthcare,
travel, transport, logistics, utilities, business and financial research) and solve business problems, using
artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data engineering and various other advanced analytics
methods

Responsibilities
 Own and deliver work on all data requests for specific analytical projects
 Learn and adapt to coding tools and scripting languages, as required for the respective client
project allocated, e.g. SQL, Python, C-Sharp, C#, Tableau, Power BI and others
 Work with the business team to understand data analysis tasks and generate insights
 Design and execute the analysis tasks using the appropriate tools and techniques
 Develop and implement business information reports on various OLAP platforms
 Adhering to documentation control standards and processes maintaining high standards of quality
will be a key requirement

Opportunity

 Work on one or more data science problem statements which requires AI, ML, advanced analytics,
automation, data engineering, analytics insights and business intelligence

Primary Interactions
 Internal:
o Engages with Assistant Managers, Managers to an Engagement Manager, depending on the
project construct and requirement
o All Analytics and any other EXL function, on need basis
 External (Depending on Client Project assigned)
o Client Teams – especially Client Data Science, Business & Technology Teams.
o Third Party Vendors –Product & Services Vendors/Partners

Desired Candidate profile


 Strong academic performance
 Must possess superior analytical and quantitative skills
 Ability to structure constructs directed to solving business problems
Technical Skills
 Desire to leverage technical competence to solve business problems
in an information rich environment
 Online Certification on popular analytics tools, is a good to have skill
 Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving, including
data analysis and validation
 Capable of deliver accurate output and over time with minimal
supervision
Soft skills
 Exhibit an outstanding ability to communicate
 Have the willingness to take initiative required of Decision Analytics
member

Salary
 At the time of joining - INR 5.00 LPA
 At 12 months- INR 6 LPA
Fixed CTC
 At 18 months- INR 8.50 LPA
 At 30 months- INR 11 LPA
 First Anniversary Bonus- INR 1.00 Lakh (payable after completion of
12 months from DOJ)
 Second Anniversary Bonus - INR 1.50 Lakh (payable after completion
of 24 months from DOJ)
 Third Anniversary Bonus - INR 1.50 Lakh (payable after completion of
Bonus
36 months from DOJ)
All Increments and bonuses are payable as per company guidelines and are
subject change as per individual performance and management’s sole
decision in this regard.
