CHOICE FILLING (ROUND 2)

Before login, the candidates will have to confirm on the checkbox “I have read all the
General Guidelines related to choice filling for Round 2” and then select option to
participate in round 2 as Yes / No.

Important
If a candidate (who reported / joined at allotted medial college after first online counselling)
does not login to select option for participation in round 2 online counselling as Yes/No, then
his/her option for round 2 participation will be considered by default as No and his/her
allotment of Round 1 will not change and he/she will continue with his/her Round 1
allotment of college and course. Such a candidate will be processed only for change of
allotment category, if needed in Round 2 allotment process and his/her seat will not be
changed.

By clicking ‘Manage Choices’ button, candidates can fill their choices (College and Course
preference) from the total seats list.

During choice filling, all the colleges and branches will be available to candidates for
selection, irrespective of seats remaining vacant after Round 1.

[During round 2 allotment process, a candidate may also get a seat which is presently not
shown in the vacant seat matrix (Round 2) but gets available during the course of Round 2
allotment process i.e. a seat vacated by a candidate who gets his/her another choice in
Round 2].

After filling the choices once, they can add / delete / rearrange the choices any number of
times till the last date/time. The choices will be auto-locked on last date/time of choice
filling. Final Print out of locked choices will be enabled only after last date/time of choice
filling.

Candidates who can fill their choice(s)

(Candidates eligible to participate in Round 2)

1. Candidates who appeared in the RUHS M.Sc Med Entrance Exam. 2019 (held on
02.02.2020) but could not fill choices for Round 1.

2. Candidates allotted a college in Round 1, reported / joined at the allotted college and
now wish to upgrade in Round 2

3. Candidates not allotted a college in Round 1 (CNA – Choice Not Available)

4. Candidates who were allotted seat in first round, reported at allotted college but their
documents were not verified due to some mismatch, and the Committee
recommended for their participation in second round on seats remaining vacant after
first round

*Upgradation: Course / college may change (higher choice) depending upon the choices
filled by the candidate, however, the course and college allotted in Round 1 will be kept as
such if there is no upgradation in round 2. If another course / college is allotted in Round 2
then the Round 1 seat will automatically get vacated and such a candidate will be required
to join at the college allotted during Round 2.

Candidates who can NOT fill their choice(s)
(Candidates not eligible to participate in Round 2)

1. Candidates allotted a college in Round 1 but not reported / not joined at the
allotted college OR are under surrendered / rejected status in Round 1 allotment

2. Candidates allotted a college in Round 1 but resigned after joining at the allotted
college

3. Candidates allotted a college in Round 1, reported / joined at the allotted college and
now do not wish to upgrade in Round 2

4. Candidates who were allotted seat in first round, reported at allotted college but were
found non-eligible on document verification
