Crit partners with reputable local institutions and
accomplished art practitioners to bring
contemporary art & education to underserved art
communities. We are looking for Expert Art
Practitioners to participate in our groundbreaking
Bermuda Fellowship Program this autumn.
Bermuda Fellowship Program
Bermuda has a rich and inspired art tradition,
including visiting artists ranging from, Winslow
Homer, Georgia O'Keeffe, Andrew Wyeth, Marsden
Hartley, among many others but not limited to
overseas artists. Bermuda is home to many talented
local artists such as Charles Zuill, Graham Foster,
Jayde Gibbons, Gherdai Hassell, and other rising stars,
who are helping to shape the cultural identity, while
expanding possibilities for contemporary artists born
in Bermuda.
Our objective is to elevate local emerging talent
through programming assistance made possible by
the generous contributions of local patrons and
institutional sponsors of the arts. Their contributions
enable us the unique opportunity to create tailored
art solutions for local developing artists, and Expert
Art Practitioners, based on more personalized
knowledge attained through partnerships with local
institutions and Not-For-Profits.
In-person Programming
The Bermuda Fellowship Program will also host a
in person programming opportunity for one select
Expert Art Practitioner. This programming is
tentatively scheduled to occur over the course
of 2 to 3 days and would pay a $600 honorarium per
day of programming to the selected Expert Art
Practitioner. This honorarium would also include
travel and lodging arrangements at one of the
island’s finest hotels, with details to be disclosed
upon request.

Remote Programming
Select Expert Art Practitioners will present
personalized digital art critiques and consultations
with developing artists for a pre-determined number
of sessions at an agreed upon rate, offering:
• Critical feedback, honest advice, and
specialized support
• Global knowledge, experience, professional
sophistication, network, and resources
• Assistance developing customizable learning
plans to meet individual artist needs
