Projector Screen #2

swing the gate open and closed!
Jon Boat Duck Blind

Another great example of a hunting blind Materials Needed
for a boat. Using a bent conduit and a few ● T Connectors

yet effective blind that secures to the side ● ¾” EMT Conduit
rails of the boat. Another cool feature of
this build is the camouflage is designed to
roll up and secure to the top of the rails
when not in use.

We have seen some really great examples

Tree Sap Guard

The city wouldn’t let the builder of this

that rests on the car using rubber feet to protect
the paint and he is able to take it off whenever he

Micro Flight Helicopter

Frame
Just like the other brew stand, this builder Materials Needed
● T Connectors
needed a custom solution for his specific
configuration. He built this frame using ● Shrink Wrap (optional)
only T Connectors and it holds all of the ● Casters
brewing equipment exactly how he wants ● ¾” EMT Conduit
it. He added casters to the bottom to
make it even more versatile!
Crutches
Spraining ankles is technically a hobby, but I still
wanted to share this build because it has a really
cool story. The builder had connectors and Materials Needed
conduit laying around waiting to be used on ● T Connectors
another project when his girlfriend hurt her ● Foam Noodles
ankle. It wasn’t bad enough to need medical ● ¾” EMT Conduit
attention, but she still needed to stay off the
ankle for a couple of days. He grabbed a few of
his connectors and 5 minutes later, DIY crutches!
Steel Drum Stands

The maker of these stands is apart of a steel
drum band and they were looking for a stand Materials Needed
solution for 12 of their drums. Normally the ● T Connectors
stands are really expensive but using a little ● ¾” EMT Conduit
bit of conduit and a couple of T Connectors,
he said they were able to build all 12 for less
than what one prebuilt usually is!
Tiki Hut/Volcano
This project is very unique and you most Materials Needed
likely won’t be recreating the build unless ● T Connectors
you’re a Hawaii enthusiast, but this ● 45 Degree Connectors
project is awesome and shows the ● ¾” EMT Conduit
adaptability of Maker Pipe. A marching
band was in need of some inexpensive
props for their halftime show. Check out

Drone Racing Gates

Drone Racing is a high intensity racing Materials Needed
that consists of flying drones fpv through ● T Connectors
various obstacles as fast as possible. The ● Shrink Wrap (optional)
gates are often built with pvc, but they ● ¾” EMT Conduit
don’t withstand a crash that well. Metal
pipes however are a great solution
because of the rigidity.
Speaker Holder
You may recognize the canopy from Materials Needed
earlier and that’s because the same ● T Connectors
builder added this simple build on the ● Shrink Wrap (optional)
canopy frame. He used two T Connectors ● ¾” EMT Conduit
and utilized the open back of the speaker.
Really simple but an effective way to add a
speaker to his deck!
Games
Gaga Ball Pit

Gaga ball is a form of dodgeball that consists of Materials Needed
players whose goal is to tag other players with ● T Connectors
the ball below the knees. The players must stay ● Netting
inside of the barriers or “pit” during the game ● ¾” EMT Conduit
which makes it even more difficult. This builder
didn’t want to pay a fortune for a prebuilt ball
pit, and instead built this one using T
Connectors, netting, and bent conduit!
Seesaw
This seesaw was built for a local to us Materials Needed
school a few years ago. We used T ● T Connectors
Connectors to achieve the triangle shape ● Seat Material
that allowed the two riders to rock back ● Shrink Wrap (optional)
and forth! ● ¾” EMT Conduit
Blanket Fort
This was a really simple fort built by the Materials Needed
owners Dave and Kelly for their daughter ● T Connectors
Bailey. They used conduit and T ● Rubber Feet
Connectors to make a frame around the ● ¾” EMT Conduit
couch that would hold blankets for the
fort. They finished off the fort with rubber
feet along the two front legs to keep the
floor safe from exposed conduit ends.
Cannonball Race
This was built for one of the various Materials Needed
Maker Faires we attended a few years ● T Connectors
ago. Using T Connectors we made a ● Shrink Wrap (optional)
slanted track that allows to players to ● ¾” EMT Conduit
race a ball to the bottom. The ball that
reached the bottom first set off a light
that announced the winner!
