Introduction
Scheduling is one of the major need in the business, especially in school and universities.
Faculty scheduling, class scheduling, room scheduling, etc. However ineffective scheduling can
lead to mistakes like overlapping of schedules, schedule duplication, ineffective use of rooms,
and more.
Socio-economic significance - This study is proposed with the framework that will
motivate other individuals, understudies, and experts to create a successful and proficient
framework.
Technological significance - This system proposed will present to the said company but
within the entire field of innovation in terms of business and industrial computerization of records

of deliveries that are presently still adjusting the manual framework in overseeing the delivery
records.
Researchers - The researchers have created their transcript, study, analysis, and
interpretation abilities required to form a great thesis.
Future Researchers - This will benefit other future researchers who wishes to have
comparable studies. Data from the result of this study which is able serve as layout to adjust their
research.

Class Scheduling System will be created specifically for the school/university to provide

This study aims to assess the class scheduling system of the schoo/university in terms of
speed, accuracy and efficiency. When the performance of the current system is low in terms of
speed, accuracy and efficiency, the class scheduler system is highly recommended.

Definition of Terms
In order to provide clear interpretation of basic concept used in this study, the following terms are
conceptually and operationally defined.
Accuracy – The degree of closeness of a measured and calculated quantity to its actual
(true value) (http://en.wikipedia.org). Operationally, this is used to measure the correctness in
preparing class schedule.
Class Scheduler – known as college style scheduling, is a form of hand scheduling that
uses information from the Master Schedule and produces cards or labels with the course
information printed on them. Operationally, as used in this study, it is the Automated Class
scheduler proposed by the researchers.
Faculty –The entire teaching staff of a university, college, or school, including any
administrators holding academic rank (http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com). Operationally,
it refers to the faculty of school/university who were one of the respondents of the study.
Speed – The rate at which something moves or travels. Operationally, it refers to how
fast the preparation of the class schedule of the school/university is done.
• The system can identify if the selected faculty, room or section is occupied.
• The faculty can also access the system but with limited features.
• The system is just a support, and the decision of which among the solutions
generated will be implemented still lies to the authorize personnel.
