Research Proposal

Class: 12 C

Research Question: How will marketing strategies help Shyam

Prakashan with its competitors?

Rational:

A marketing strategy is a proper outline developed specifically to meet the

institution's business goals. It lays forth a strategy for achieving those business
objectives. It is also the foundation of a marketing strategy. It is the result of an
extensive market study. A marketing plan enables a company to focus its limited
resources on the most promising possibilities in order to boost sales.

Darjeeling's oldest publishing firm is Shyam Prakashan. This publishing firm was
impacted by competitors. Darjeeling has around ten publishing houses, according
to the CEO. How did his revenues plummet by 30%, and how did this affect his
employees? Shyam Prakashan also assists authors in the publication of their works
by distributing them to schools.

This research will help the company grow its operations and compete with other
businesses (books, magazines, etc.). Because Darjeeling is a small town, this
company is mostly driven by its location, and as its competitors grow, so will their
demand. Customers have had issues as a result of the competition amongst
publishers. How can we assist Shyam Prakashan using marketing methods, such as
the Four P's? Shyam Prakashan's CEO is also a Nepali novelist who has written
stories and poetry in Nepali.
