CAMPING
Last Sunday, my friends and I went camping on the mountain. We went to Patulungan. The
spot was near from our town. It was about one hour to get there. We left home at about 09.00
am. We choose Patulungan because it was not far from our home.
We prepared everything before going to Patulungan. We brought cooking utensils and the
food, clothes, camera, guitar, etc. We went there by motorcycle.

On the first day, we set up the tent on the camping area. The air was fresh. We took a bath on the
waterfall. The water fall was called Curug Putri. We were talking about the waterfall with
admiration. We felt very lucky that the place has it, and we needed to preserve it. After playing at
the water fall we felt hungry. Then we cooked the food for our lunch together. The first night of
our camping, the air was so cold so we made a campfire and sang songs. We slept before the
camp fire finished. We were shocked in the middle of the night when the tent was burnt. It
taught us a lesson that fire really broke the surrounding so we had to protect the land from fire.
On the second day, we had some activities. We tried to go fishing in the river near the
waterfall and then cook them for our lunch. After lunch we packed everything we brought. We
cleaned the camping area and prepared to go home. We made a memory by taking photos
together in front of the waterfall and went home happily.

POLAR BEAR
Polar bear are the largest species of bear. Polar bear lives in the polar region of the arctic: the
northern most region of Russia, Green land, Alaska, Canada, and Norway. In winter, Polar

of blubber which keeps their large, fur covered paws ache as snowshoes to have them work on
the ice, paddles to help them swim through the water and weapon to catch their prey.
Female polar bears usually give birth two babies cubs in the middle of winter. A new born cub
