At this juncture, I would like to request everyone to stand for
the invocation to be lead to us Ma’am Amada Alanano and
please remain standing for the singing of our Philippine
National Anthem.
 . Welcome address
And to formally welcome us in this amazing celebration is none
other than the active and highly intelligent Barangay Councilor
Hon Noel E. Quilinguen.

Caticugan 2018 Live at the center stage of barangay Caticugan
our equally beautiful and gorgeous candidates in their
production number!!!
Intermission
and to add some species and flavors in this wonderful occasion
we have here the pride of my dear almamater the Siation
national high school dance troupe in their intermission number!
 READING OF CRITERIA AND GUIDELINES
At this point of time we will be presenting the Criteria and
Guidelines because I’m very sure everyone is wondering how
the candidates will be judged. Aside from that this pageant is
not only merely about glamour and poise but also defies the
contestant’s character as well. so we have here Mr. Ariel E.
Sastre Teacher 1 at sumaliring high school to read to us the
guidelines and the Criteria for tonight’s competition ,let’s give
him a warm round of applause please!!

Introduction of the board of judges

At this juncture I would like to call on Ms.Joanna Marie A.
Dumon to introduce to us the panel of judges.
There we have it ladies and gentlemen the people who are
responsible in tonight’s result.
Before we proceed to the summer wear competition let us first
be entertain by Miss Stacy Ragay in her intermission number.
 SUMMER WEAR COMPETITION
Winter, Spring Summer or Fall .These are the common seasons
around the globe. In the Philippines summer has been the best
season of the year were most of us spend our precious time at
the beach with friends and family wearing our best summer
outfit. Tonight ladies and gentlemen! be Ready!! be Amazed !!
As we present to you our 5 equally beautiful and sexy
candidates in their Summer Wear Competition.
INTERMISSION
Barangay Caticugan is known to be the producer of talented
people in the entire Municipality of Siaton.. agree ba mo arun?
It has been said when it comes to dancing and singing abay
number one mga taga Caticugan dyan And to prove to us that!
We have here The Caticugan High school performers in their
intermission number!!
Gown Competition
When God created male and female God created them equally
but differently God created female full of glamour and poise,
confidence and beauty, intelligence and Respect. Tonight ladies
and gentlemen we are about to see what God had created with
their shining shimmering splendid gown. Friends we have here
our five lovely candidates in their Gown competition.

It has been said that history repeats itself, tonight let’s

have a little flashback of last yeas’ beauty pageant as we
all remember, recollect, remind and reminisce how this
beauty pageant change the ordinary life of this ordinary
girl as she make her Final walk .. our Miss Caticugan 2017

 She believes that leadership is servant hood leadership is
service, she is an inspiration for all of us gikan sa kawad-
on inubanan sa paningkamot na hilingkawas siya sa
kapobrehon and by this she keeps on sharing her blessings
to the people of Siaton . Minus sa storya action ang Una!!

Trivia for TONIGHT coming from KENDRICK GAITERA MACIAS RAGAY
KITANE.
If you have noticed the Patron Saint, Saint Isidore the Farmer-the patron of
workers marks its Feast day during May 15; but in Caticugan, it is quite
"unique" since the Fiesta is celebrated during the last Saturday of February.
This is due to the Former Sacristan del Mayor's discretion -Don Lucas Ege
-who was also a former Mayor of Siaton-who pioneered the thanksgiving as
they say due to the abundance of having good rice harvests after the
establishment of irrigations at Caticugan which was done annually which
starts with a novena and after- with social gatherings and fellowship
including the performance of Balitaw during the last Saturday of February
celebrated by the natives. As the folks say, the chapel of Caticugan in the
early years was one of the oldest chapels of Siaton. Since the Caticugan
people are somewhat like culturally inclined-which is still evident nowadays
shown in their means and ways of living- even though they are being told to
reset the fiesta to the real feast of the patron, they were firm that it should
not be changed since they do believe that their ancestors might get angry
to them. Speaking of bountiful rice harvest, the malagkit rice or dubbed as
"pilit " is one of the barangay's raw products due to its topographical
location which made them famous with their time-tested delicacy
"budbud". Ancient "mamulubudbod"passed away already but the recipe
continued in paving the name of Caticugan and was hailed in the town
since then. Some says that the best "budbud" is now made in the barangay
aforementioned- this is something I agree with. The former president,PNoy
can testify the latter claim. 😊😇
