Supermarkets PLC, 2013). Its operation was mostly centered also on north till 2004, when it
acquired Safeway and extended the firm around the UK, primarily in London. Morrisons
presently has over 500 shops across the United Kingdom. It has also risen becoming the UK's
third-largest food company. Morrisons specializes in fresh foods and groceries. In addition, the
company has over 500 locations in the UK, such as over twelve handy locations. Morrisons
produces all its fresh produce and has complete control over the fresh food system. Morrisons
employs 117,000 people across the UK, serving more than 11 million consumers each week.
Morrisons is unique among its rivals in that it owns and controls the distribution network.
