Course Objectives
• Students can understand;
– The biological signals and signal acquisition,

– To provide the design concepts of


bioelectric amplifiers

– To learn the principle and operation of various


biomedical systems
Expected Course Outcomes
On the completion of this course the student will be :
• Able to design and maintain bio electric devices used
for diagnostic and therapeutic applications,
• Able to work with medical, biological, Signal processing
teams
• This course also meets the following student outcomes
– ability to design a system, component, or process to meet
desired needs within
– realistic constraints such as economic, environmental,
social, political, ethical, health and safety,
manufacturability, and sustainability
