How to check heat resistance of films..?
1) To get the letter size of sheet sample from the center of the film web.
2) Draw lines both MD and TD directions with 20 mm interval using a graph paper.
3) Measure the distance between T-X and T-X’, and M-Y and M-Y’ using a scale and a
magnification.
4) Put the sheet sample on the glass plate and place the glass plate in the oven.
5) Keep the samples in the oven for 15 - 30 minutes.
6) Take the sheet sample out and measure the distance between T-X and T-X’, and M-Y and
M-Y’ using a scale and a magnification to calculate the shrinkage.
