RE: UNSATISFACTORY CONDITIONS AT MUFAKOSE POLYCLINIC

Unsatisfactory conditions which require your urgent attention were noticed followind an inspection of
the above mentioned institution.

Maternity Wing

This comprised the waiting area, Sister IN Charges Room, Pharmacy Storerooms 1-3,Kichen,
Corridor,Antenatal and Postnatal Wards 1 and 2 and the labour Ward.

The geiling in all the rooms needs to be repaired and repainted

The demarcation boards in the post and ante natal wards need to be repaired

The toilets in the whole ward are not functional

Replace worn out and missing floor tiles in all the rooms

Esure all the 5 geysers are in good working order

Replace the broken window panes in the bathroom

Ensure the sluice room is in good working order

Pollyclinic Wing

Repair and repaint the rain damaged ceiling

Repair all damaged demarcating boards

Replace all missing door handles and locks,

Repair all non functional cisterns in male and female staff as well as patients toilets
Incinerator

The incinerator has not been functional for more than a year and so needs your urgent attention to be
repaired as medical waste including that from other clinics is being incinerated at the clinic to the
detriment of the clinic and its environs.

Outside Painting

Redo the outside painying of the whole clinic as paint is currently peeling off

Remove from the clinic yard all disused metal aggergates not incidental to conduct of business at the
clinic.
