INTRODUCTION
• The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's
Triangle, is a region of the north-western Atlantic
Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface
vessels have disappeared.
• Bermuda Triangle is a large area of the Atlantic
Ocean between Florida, Puerto Rico and
Bermuda.
• The exact boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle
are not universally agreed upon.
• The Bermuda Triangle does not appear on any
world maps and the US Board on geographic
names does not recognize the Bermuda triangle
as an Official Region of the Atlantic Ocean.

while Steaming from the Caribbean to Baltimore
in 1918.

• Flight 19 was the code name of a group of five

Avenger torpedo bombers that disappeared over
Bermuda Triangle on December 5th, 1945.

• After the communication gap during an overwater

navigation training flight from Naval Air Station
Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
• The Phrase first appeared in print in 1964 Pulp magazine
article by Vincent Gaddis.

Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Centre), which is located
on the Andros Island of Bahamas. Here US Navy tests their
submarines, sonar and other weapons. However, many are of
the view that it is more than just the testing centre.
