Smart Bin Using IoT

Introduction
Objective of your work
The main idea of the project is to monitor the dustbins of
the place or an area so that they can be monitored and
only the completely filled bins or the aabout to filled bins
can be cleaned. So that we can save fuel and man power
too.
Origin of your proposal
Existing systems were used for monitoring the waste by
connecting it to a computer or on an LCD screen
onboard. It was less of a IoT more of a traditional waste
management systems without any security features.

Methods and Materials
A computer program is a coded series of instructions that
the computer what to do. The program that run-on
Arduino are called sketches .These sketches tell Arduino
to read data from one of the pins, such as the one
connected to a sensor , and to write information in a
certain way: to combine data streams , or compare the
input with some reference, or evenplace the data into a
readable format.
IFTTT
If This Then That, also known as IFTTT, is a free web-
based service to create chains of simple conditional
statements, called applets.An applet is triggered by
changes that occur within other web services such as
Gmail,Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, or Pinterest. For
example, an applet may send an e-mail message if the
user tweets using a hashtag or copy a photo on Facebook
to a user's archive if someone tags a user in a
photo.

Discussion/Conclusion
With help of this project we can bring all the control and
administration departments to one place for efficient usage of
human work and resources for garbage management. With
this we can promise hygiene environment throughout the city.
This project idea will lead to automated garbage management
throughout a smart city with help of autonomous vehicles and
infrastructure. This can save lots of human labor and resources.
