COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces some applied social sciences, namely counseling, social work and communication which draw their foundation from the theories
and principles of psychology, sociology, anthropology and other social sciences. This course highlights the seamless interconnectivity of the different applied social
science discipline focusing on the processes and application of these applied discipline in critical development areas.

COURSE EXPECTED OUTCOMES (CEO)


The students are expected to:

1. Explain the definition of discipline and ideas in social science through retrieve chart,
2. Differentiate social sciences and applied and compare,
3. Explain the different discipline of social science, and
4. Explain clearly public perception about the social sciences and applied social sciences.
