I had to set off for school a little earlier than usual that morning.

My
teacher gave me a tougue lashing for being late to school on the day before that.
Therefore,I was deeply ashamed and promised to be punctual to school next
time.
As I approached my school,I found out that it was unusually dark.Curiously,I
walked into it and no one was studying in the classes. My footsteps echoed as I
was walking along the hallway. Hence,I was absolutely panicked and ran to the
teachers’ office to search for my teacher. Nevertheless,the office was closed and
it was completely dark.
Out of the blue,a portly man with droopy moustache was standing behind
me.I was deeply shocked and shouted loudly.I signed a relief when I recognized
that he was actually our school guard.He informed me that it was school holiday
that day. At that moment,my face turned red because I have done a ridiculous
mistake.
