Integrated Assignments of Mathematics, English and Science

Speech Enrichment: Record a short video while talking about the

origin and significance of Mandala art. Also, mention the kind of
energy displayed by the same. You may use the prop to enhance your
presentation. Submit the video to your Mathematics teacher as per the
given schedule:

Creative Skills Enrichment: Refer Fig. 15.1, Page no 147 of your

textbook to observe different types of Firki toys. Create your own toy,
keeping in mind the concept of Mandalas. You can refer to the following link
to make a Mandala with wire. Click the picture of your DIY Project and
share with your Class teacher on 11.1.2021.

Integrated Assignments of Hindi and Social Science

Comprehensive and critical Skills Enrichment: Write the historical

and cultural significance of Mandala art and draw the same on an A-4
size sheet. Also, write a poem in Hindi on the topic 'Firki' in not more
than 4-5 stanzas on an A-4 size sheet. Submit the same to your
respective subject teachers on 11.1.2021.

Reading Enrichment Activity: Read the book 'How the Sea became
Salty' as written by Ms. Sudha Murthy and prepare a Critical Analysis
(strength and weakness of the story) of the same using an A 4 size
sheet. Submit it to your respective English Teacher on 12.1.2021.

Enriching 'How I taught my Grandmother to Read', the book written by the renowned Author Ms. Sudha
Reading Murthy will be shared by your respective class teacher via Students' WhatsApp Group for the
Skills preparation of a live interaction with the Author which is proposed after Winter Break for class
VI onwards. You shall read the book thoroughly and shall prepare for the live session efficiently.
