LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
I am Mr. Long. I am working as a teacher of Mathematic Subject in Nguyen Huu
Huan High School, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I would like to kindly recommend Nguyen
Duc Cuong – one of my trustworthly students to be a bachelar candidate in your bachelar
program. This is the reason that I am writing this letter to you now.
At (During) the first period of the study year, Cuong self-reveal the potential of
tending to develop autonomy which enables him to make a huge progress in self-
improvement. He has ever made me believe that he is a serious youth rather than a normal
young student by claiming that self-study task can develop a passion for knowledge which
mostly people find boring as oatmeal. Mechanically copying is not a deed of a student like
him since he always tries his best to grasp the core method of solving a certain problem. He
always hits the books after finishing dinner without any reminder from his parents, which is
one of outstanding advantages of Vietnamese students nowadays. Whenever he gets
encounter difficulties in any subject, he will not give up easily but quickly reviews various
theories or throw the questions online to reach the best answers. He is very good at self-
studying any subject, in particular subjects as Information Technology, Mathematic,
Chemical, History subjects (, to name but a few).
As I know, he always acquired results with flying colours during the years of studying
in Secondary School and Primary School. He is also an excellent goalkeeper in any soccer
team that he has ever joined in. It is no exaggeration to say that he is not only a talent but also
an active serious youth. His thinking style is at a balance between psychological-based
tuition and clear-cut logic, which allows him to be flexible and versatile in lots of certain
situations. Although he insists on not being an all-rounder, I have witnessed how he manages
to vary his timetable to study and gets the best scores out of him.
Shortly, I wish him all the best achievement in his specialisation. I believe he will be a
good student in any university or institution that he follow in (no “in”) (Swap the two
