It is common when talking to people of the same age such as friend the correspondences use informal language or local
language. When talking to older or honor people in certain place such as college, the correspondences use formal language whether
Bahasa or English language. But different when talking to older people in family such as parents or older brother and sister the
correspondences use using informal language or local language.

Trend
Trend in language is when in group, community or circle, the member is using the language terms which they make and use
specifically in their circle. Those language terms are known as register in language trends. From the table data above, Dzakirah uses
register in one of her communities; Pasir Arabia Community.

Vernacular and lingua franca

A vernacular language is the native language of a specific population living within the country, so based on the language used by
correspondences, the vernacular of each is local language (Banjarese and Javanese)

While lingua franca is a language used when people speaking different vernacular dialects want to communicate with each other
which is Bahasa Indonesia whether in formal or informal form of speech.
