COMMUNITY BASED TRAINING PROGRAM ON DRESSMAKING NC 11

IN PHOTOS: Participants during the Community Based Skills Training on Dressmaking NC II under the scholarship
program of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). The program was an offshoot of the
strengthened partnership and linkages with TESDA in achieving sustainable livelihood program through
empowerment and capacity building training. The training was spearheaded by the Runo Sewing Services, a DTI
registered with six (6) sewers involved in the sewing business and a recipient of the 2018 Annual Social Development
Management Program Fund of FCF Minerals Corporation. Likewise, the Runruno Community Multi-Purpose
Cooperative (RCMPC) extended its support to the said training by providing financial assistance, this is in line with
the Cooperative Community Service Program.

Currently the Runo Sewing Services have contract services with FCF Minerals as regular supplier of Calico bags and
other occasional sewing product orders of the company.

A total of 20 Runruno community residents participated the training on March 8-May 31, 2021 and 19 participants
passed the National Certificate II assessment.
