),
Eg1: This structure is too easy for you to remember.
Eg2: He ran too fast for me to follow.

2. S + V + so + adj/ adv + that + S + V (quá... đến nỗi mà...),

Eg1: This box is so heavy that I cannot take it.
Eg2: He speaks so soft that we can’t hear anything.

3. It + V + such + (a/ an) + adj + N(s) + that + S + V (quá... đến nỗi mà...),
Eg1: It is such a heavy box that I cannot take it.
Eg 2: It is such interesting books that I cannot ignore them at all.

4. S + V + adj/ adv + enough + (for someone) + to do something. (Đủ... cho ai đó làm gì...),
Eg1: She is old enough to get married.
Eg 2: They are intelligent enough for me to teach them English.
 Quy tắc 1:
Nếu:
– Trước tính từ, trạng từ trong câu có các trạng từ: too, so, very, quite, extremely…
– Trước danh từ có many, much, a lot of, lots of
=> Thì phải bỏ các từ đó.
 Quy tắc 2:
Khi nối câu bằng “enough", nếu chủ ngữ ở 2 câu giống nhau thì lược bỏ “for sb”
Lưu ý cả 4 cấu trúc trên
S1 + V1 + so + adj + that + S2 + V2 + O2
Nếu S1 là vật mà O2 nhắc lại vật đó và dùng với từ “it”:
Trong cấu trúc: So/ such … that, ta giữ lại từ “it”
Trong cấu trúc: Too … to; enough … to ta bỏ từ “it”.
The water was so cold that the children couldn’t swim in it.
→ It was such cold water that the children couldn’t swim in it.
→ The water was too cold for the children to swim in.
→ The water is not warm enough for the children to swim in.

5. To be/ get Used to + V-ing (quen làm gì),

Eg 1: I am used to eating with chopsticks.

6. Used to + V0 (Thường làm gì trong qk và bây giờ không làm nữa),

Eg 1: I used to go fishing with my friend when I was young.
Eg 2: She used to smoke 10 cigarettes a day.
