Size H/8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Worsted (4) weight yarn

Special Stitches

Loop Stitch: Make loop on right side of work over thumb. Insert hook into next
stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through both loops on
hook. Slide thumb out of loop.

Slipper (make 2)

1: Leaving a long tail for sewing, ch number of stitches needed to reach the
Chain Length for desired size from the chart on the last page. SC in second ch
from hook and all remaining chs. Turn.

2: Ch 1, Loop Stitch in each st across. Turn.

3: Ch 1, SC across. Turn.

Repeat rows 2-3 until the piece measures the Square Height for desired size
from the chart on the last page. Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

Using a long tail, gather one edge using a running stitch up the sides of the
rows. Cinch tight and securely knot, closing the toe of the slipper. Folding
right sides together (loopy side in), sew top of slipper to the midpoint using a
whip stitch. Securely knot and weave in end.

Using the other long tail, fold right sides together (loopy side in) and sew the
edge for the heel using a whip stitch. Securely knot and weave in end.

Turn right side out.
