2. Following the demo, observe how the conversation flows here.

message to him.
● If you’re still in this 24-Hr window, you can use BROADCAST.
❏ After that 24-Hr window, you can either use: Message tags or Sponsored Messages

❏ Similar to email drip campaigns where you can send specific emails or multiple

❏ Difference: it’s sent via Messenger instead of email.

1. Understand the principles of Sequences feature of Manychat by watching the video


tutorial.
2. Be able to explore its different elements and how to use them.

Notes:

SEQUENCE
-the sequence could be a include that permits you to subscribe
to contacts from your group of onlookers to the chain of
messages that can be separated by delays of diverse lengths.
You’ll be able to discover your current groupings or make a
modern one within the “Automation”>”sequence” tab.

interactions.

4. User starts a conversation with a page via a plugin
5. User clicks on an m.me link or REF URL
6. User reacts to a message

WHAT IF THE USERS:


● Did not interact with you
● Or interacted but beyond the 24-Hour window

RESOLUTION:

❏ Message Tags - can be applied to messages that are sent after the 24-Hour window,
provided that they are non-promotional and they have the following message tags:

CONFIRMED_EVENT_UPDATE Send the users reminders or updates


for an event they have registered for.
This tag may be used for upcoming
events and events in progress.

POST_PURCHASE_UPDATE Notify the user of an update on a recent


purchase.

ACCOUNT_UPDATE Notify the user of a non-recurring


change to their application or account.

OTHER Use this type to mark content that does


not fit any specific type above.

HUMAN_AGENT (BETA) Allows human agents to respond to


user inquiries. Messages can be sent via
7 days after a user message.

❏ One-Time Notification
Allows a page to request a user to send one follow-up message after the 24-hour
messaging window has ended, provided that the user has explicitly requested to
receive a one-time follow up message.

❏ Sponsored Messages
Allow businesses to reengage with people who have an open conversation with their
Page in Messenger.

DEFAULT REPLY
- This is the message that the bot sends to the user whenever it doesn’t understand
what the user’s saying.
- This is triggered when the user did not follow the automation that you have set
inside of your bot.
