Infrastructure

Seoul Airport consists of Incheon International Airport and Gimpo Airport. Gimpo International
Airport is the No. 1 domestic airport in South Korea[ CITATION Ano19 \l 1033 ] , while Incheon
International Airport mainly takes international flights, with 88 airlines operating in 173 cities

Seoul is one of the world's most extensive subway networks. It connects the Greater Seoul Area
and extends to most of the city's largest suburbs, allowing millions of people to travel in

All streets have buses passing by. Buses are divided into 3 types: city buses, airport buses, and
express buses. Depending on the needs, tourists will choose the appropriate bus for themselves .

The Seoul-Sejong under construction since 2016, linking the nation′s capital of Seoul to the
country′s administrative capital Sejong , will open in 2024. Therefore, tourists can easily go to

Superstructure
To meet the increasing number of tourists, the government has enacted special laws on hotels for
tourists such as: providing accommodation for tourists visiting Seoul. Many hotels have been
built in Seoul.

High-tech theme parks differ from general theme parks in that the main focus is on the advanced
technologies, such as virtual reality, simulation and hologram technologies.

Carrying capacity

According to the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea’s maximum carrying
capacity is 17.5 million per year if the visa conditions for entry to Korea are still eased and

Safety and security


There is minimal risk from crime in Korea. Crimes involving violence are relatively uncommon.
Small incidents such as pickpocketing and theft often occur in large urban areas, tourist
attractions, and shopping areas. Due to strict gun control laws, gun crime is extremely rare.

War

The security situation between South Korea and North Korea has been relatively stable since the
historic meeting of the leaders of the two countries at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in 2018.
The two leaders vowed to work together towards the goal, removed nuclear weapons from Korea
and officially ended the War.
