ONLINE SHORT-TERM TRAINING PROGRAMME

On the occasion of International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem 2021 (26th July) and
International Tiger Day 2021 (29th July), MOTHER NATURE ECO (MNE) (Kolkata & Durgapur, West
Bengal, India), a division of SEARCH EARTH FOUNDATION (Durgapur & Kolkata, West Bengal, India)
is organizing "Online Short-Term Training Programme (SEF-MNE-OSTTP-2021-PHASE 1)" on 1st
August, 2021 (Sunday).

ABOUT US

SEARCH EARTH FOUNDATION (SEF) is an independent Indian private non-profit foundation, based in
Steel City of Durgapur, West Bengal, India. It was launched on 5th June, 2021. It has another branch in City
of Joy, Kolkata, West Bengal India.

SEF’S motto is “EARTH IS FOR ALL & ALL IS FOR EARTH”.

The primary goals of the foundation are to promote education and research, creating awareness about nature
conservation and protection and enhance healthcare information and individual sustainability.

There has never been a more urgent need to restore damaged ecosystems than now.

Restoration of ecosystem is fundamental to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, mainly those on
climate change, poverty eradication, food security, water and biodiversity conservation.

Inspired by The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030 (“Prevent, halt and reverse the degradation
of ecosystems worldwide”), on 5th June, 2021, on the occasion of WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY (WED),
SEF launched its 1st Division, MOTHER NATURE ECO (MNE) based in Kolkata & Durgapur, West
Bengal, India, with the objectives of Nature – Conservation, Protection. Education, Awareness and
Sustainability.
ABOUT THE EVENT

We are celebrating International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem 2021 and International
Tiger Day 2021, and organizing "Online Short-Term Training Programme (SEF-MNE-OSTTP-2021-
PHASE 1)" on 1st August, 2021 (Sunday). We are inviting you to participate in this event. Go through the

RULES OF THE OSTTP 2021 PHASE 1

✓ By entering the OSTTP, you agree and acknowledge that the Search Earth Foundation and its divisions
are permitted to receive your registration data. All personal information will be used by the Search
Earth Foundation in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
✓ This OSTTP is free to enter.
✓ By entering the OSTTP, you hereby accept these OSTTP Rules and the Terms and Conditions.
✓ Entries must be submitted by August 01, 2021 at 09:00 am (Indian Standard Time).
✓ The SEARCH EARTH FOUNDATION and its divisions reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to
disqualify and remove any entry that does not comply with the following requirements, even after the
entry is submitted on the registration form.
✓ Participants must not promote or represent any contain with infringing, threatening, false, misleading,
abusive, harassing, libellous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or
profane content.
✓ Participants should not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other
intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or
publicity.
✓ Participants must not suppress any relevant material / facts and all the stated information provided in
registration form is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
✓ Participants must understand that, certificate shall be issued to me only after fulfilling all the norms of
SEARCH EARTH FOUNDATION and its divisions. Non-discloser / suppression of information
will lead to cancellation of my participation rights in the contest.
 RULES FOR THE OSTTP 2021 PHASE 1 (ATTENDEES)

✓ Everyone can enter the OSTTP 2021 PHASE 1 via the link which will be supplied to you in WhatsApp
group. Please log-in as guest with your full name.

✓ Please follow the instructions for downloading / installing the necessary software (Google Meet &
YouTube), if it is not available on your computer/mobile already.

✓ As participant you will have very restricted rights. You can only see and listen to the presenters and
see how many other participants join the meeting. Communication is possible only via the “Chat
window” in google meet & YouTube live or via “Status”.

✓ Rules for using the Chat: In this window we as host will announce the upcoming presentation/speaker.
You as participant can use the chat for questions to the speaker. Please do not use it for other topics or
internal discussion.

✓ If there are questions of general interest, we will ask the speaker to answer them directly after the
presentation for everyone. All the other remarks and questions will be sent to the speaker as protocol
and will be answered later on.

✓ Your status is visible for everyone in the attendee list behind your name. We as host can see the
participants sorted by status. We record the meeting and save the presentations. Everything will be
available later on our YouTube Channel and Website.
