Gender Issues

__The way in which people behave socially, through racist or sexist practices and other forms of
discrimination, tends to affect and affect the opportunities and wealth that individuals may generate for
themselves. Everyone is affected by gender inequality - women, men, trans and gender diverse people,
children and families and also it impacts people of all ages and backgrounds. We need gender equality
urgently. Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier, and it's for our economic
prosperity. Gender equality is a human right. Everyone benefits from gender
equality.________________________________________________________________________

_ _Racism takes many forms and can happen in many places. It includes prejudice, discrimination, or
hatred directed at someone because of their color, ethnicity, or national origin. People often associate
racism with acts of abuse or harassment, and take racial name-calling and jokes. Or consider situations
when people may be excluded from groups or activities because of where they come from. Racism is
more than just words, beliefs, and actions. That includes any barriers that prevent people from having
dignity and equality because of their
race._________________________________________________________________________________
