CADET’S USER MANUAL FOR NCC DIGITAL FORUM

Introduction

1. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets keep participating in various activities
viz Training, SSCD, Sports and Adventure, YEP etc. A Digital Forum has been provided
to these Cadets by DG NCC. Through this new platform, the Cadets will have the option
of sharing their experiences through articles, poems, photos and videos. Any cadet
enrolled in NCC anywhere across India will be able to participate in this ‘NCC Forum’
and share her/his experiences. The content uploaded by a cadet will become available
on the Forum once it is approved by a moderator.

2. The procedure for a cadet to participate in this forum is as given in succeeding


steps. Please note that the steps-3 and step-5 are required only on the first login and is
a one-time activity.

Step-1: The cadet logs in to NCC website, https://indiancc.nic.in/ and in the top right
there is link for ‘DIGITAL FORUM’.

Step-2: Once the cadet clicks the link ‘DIGITAL FORUM’, she/he land on the NCC
Digital Forum page as shown below. This Digital Forum homepage lists all the activities
shared till date by the cadets. There is NO login required to view this homepage. When
a cadet wishes to participate then the first-time visitor has to register first on this forum
and the cadets who are already registered can directly go to Login page.

Step-3: Procedure for Registration (Required only once). The registration of cadets
is compulsory to participate in this ‘DIGITAL FORUM’. A cadet can register using her/his
email-ID or mobile number and providing the required fields as shown below. There will
be verification of email-ID/mobile OTP and post verification a user can set his password
for the portal.

Step-4: Procedure for Login. Post the registration on the portal, a cadet can login
using email/mobile and password/OTP as shown below.

Step-5: Procedure for Profile Update (Required only once). When logging-in for
the first time, the cadet will have complete her/his profile by providing the details as
shown below:

Step-6: Procedure for Sharing Activity. After the completing of login procedure,
a cadet clicks on the ‘ADD ACTIVITY’ button on the top right side and is presented the
page as shown below. All fields are mandatory and the information needs to be
provided by the cadet. Please note that to share a video please save the video on
sharable cloud storage such as Google-Drive or One-Drive, etc and upload only the
sharing link on the portal. Once submitted the content will be available on the portal post
approval of the moderator.
