Capacitor Fuses
Indoor
• 600 V Current Limiting
• Continuous amperes: 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225
• Primary application is individual unit fusing of low voltage single and three phase capacitors in metal
CLN enclosed equipment

• 1.2-4.3 kV Current Limiting

• The 1200, 1800 and 3000 volt ratings are current limiting, indicating and non disconnecting
• The 2500 volt and 4.3/2.5 kV ratings are current limiting, non-indicating and non-disconnecting
• Primary application is individual unit fusing of low voltage single and three phase capacitors in metal
CLC enclosed equipment

• 5.5-15.5 kV Current Limiting & Expulsion

• Two part design:
- the high current section interrupts high 60Hz fault currents and/or high frequency discharge current
from parallel capacitors
- the low voltage sections consist of a standard NEMA type K fuse link mounted in a fiber tube
CIL

Outdoor
• 9.7-26.2 kV Expulsion
• Primary application is individual capacitor unit fusing in outdoor capacitor equipment
• Applications: in all ungrounded wye applications, in all grounded wye applications when the capacitor
CXP units are connected in two or more series group

• 2.8-23 kV Current Limiting & Expulsion

• Two part design:
- the high current section interrupts high 60Hz fault currents and/or high frequency discharge current
from parallel capacitors
COL - the low voltage sections consists of a standard NEMA type K fuse link mounted in a fiber tube

• 2.5-25 kV Current Limiting & Expulsion

• A very high energy capability individual capacitor fuse used in outdoor banks with many parallel
CLXP capacitor units
