A completely upgraded framework and visualization interface delivers a fantastic array of tools to all mine planning experts. Building on the
foundations of previous products, and featuring the latest technology available for optimal stope design, the latest iteration introduces key
concepts that will allow you to construct and sequence sophisticated and practical designs with significantly enhanced visualization
capabilities. This will ensure your design work is not only optimal in terms of efficiency and realism, but also captivating with regards to
presenting those designs to your audience.
If you intend to export and/or synchronize Studio UG data with Datamine's Enhanced Production Scheduler (EPS)
application, Enhanced Production Scheduler v3.0.201.0 or higher needs to be installed locally.

New Features for UG version 2.3

This update is recommended for all Studio UG users.

Interrogation Speedups
The speed of model interrogation has been greatly improved in this update.

Generate Filters
Filters can now be generated based on existing activity values for user-defined attributes.

Advanced Segmenting Improvements

You can now dump at the end of a design, and the restriction that dump angles are greater than or equal to the previous dump
angle has been removed.

Validation Enhancements
Studio UG has been designed to provide useful and clear feedback in relation to your planning activities. This update provides
extended validation to ensure data flows through the planning workflow with the minimum of fuss.

Planning Workflow Improvements

This update includes the following enhancements to the planning tasks:

• Processing: outline centreline generation has been enhanced to cover a more diverse range of inputs.
• Processing: complex Solids will now recognize and adhere to any previously-created tag strings.
• Processing: activity creation has been optimized, significantly speeding up data processing. This includes the
processing of derived activities.
• Processing: dependency rules dialog now shows a rule number that will match the rule number displayed in the
processing progress messages, making it easier to review and react to processing alerts.
• Dependencies: the dependencies rule grid is now configurable; you can interactively change the order of rule
application.
• Dependencies: a dependency repair is now run automatically as part of the dependency generation process. More

EPS Connection Improvements

The way EPS and Studio UG connect has changed to optimize performance and allow the system to be more flexible in the
future. For example, you can now connect to EPS without loading an .evr animation file, and the connection to EPS no longer
persists when you no longer need it.

New!! 3D Window Drillhole Sample Ticks and Depth Intervals

This update introduces an additional formatting option for drillhole data displayed in any 3D window. Sample Ticks and Depth
Intervals can now be added to the selected drillhole overlay. Position, size, symbol and colour are all configurable.

• add-segment-to-string will now restrict data picking to preselected string data. More...
• adjust-to-gradient has been added to the Design ribbon. More...
• A new command - align-section - will automatically update the currently-active section definition to match the current
view direction. More..
• cone-from-drillhole and cone-from-string commands are now available on the Solids ribbon.
• Dynamic string and wireframe evaluation dialogs are now supported by a Restore button, letting you rapidly reinstate
previous settings.
In addition, both commands can now generate volume x field and tonnes x field weighted results in addition to
previous weighting options.

If you do not have a valid license for this product, you will not be able to launch the application. Additional licensing may be required for
access specific functions within your product.
This product requires License Services v5.1 or higher to be installed locally. This is normally installed as part of your product
installation process, but please note that a downgrade of License Services to an earlier version will prevent this product from
launching.
