PROCEDURES IN WHICH HARDWARE CAN FULFIL THE REQUIREMENTS

OF AN ORGANIZATION AND ITS STAKEHOLDERS.

An organization requires various kinds of devices and hardware for maintaining its
quality of services and integrity, such kinds of hardware and devices includes:

Digital devices:

1. Desktop computers: It is a type of personal computer that is used by

employees in an organization for daily use. Desktop computer is made up
various kinds of hardware for it to perform. The following hardware are listed
below:
a) RAM (Random Access Memory): This hardware is used for storing
data or code, it is a form of a memory that can used in a very fast
manner and has a direct connection to the CPU (Central Processing
Unit).
b) Motherboard: It is a logic board or system board that is used for
connecting all the hardware in a desktop.
c) Processor: It is also known as CPU (Central processing Unit) which is
single most important part of a desktop computer that is responsible for
processing all the commands.
d) Power Supply Unit: This hardware component provides power to all
the hardware in the desktop computer.
e) Optical Drive: It is a hardware that which is a disk drive that uses
laser to read or write information in optical disk.
2. Storage devices: It is a hardware that is used for storing information for long
or short period of time.
a) SSD: Also known as Solid state drive which is used as a storage
device, which is much faster than the regular mechanical hard disk.
b) HDD: It is traditional storage device that uses mechanical system and
holds a disk to store information, it is slower than SSD.
3. Peripheral:

4. CCTV: CCTV keeps records of every activity within its visual range which can
later be used for finding the intruder and using the visual record as evidence
for prosecution.
5. Mobile devices: Employees requires mobile devices like smartphones for
better communication and also organization should consider providing a
company phone to employees for betterment of maintaining certain policies.
6. Sim: A sim or subscriber identification module (SIM) is necessary for
employees to maintain communication.
7. Key card door locks: The door lock is used at the entrance of the office.
Employees and owners are required to use ID for unlocking doors.
8. Router: It is used as an interconnecting device that receives, analyze and
forward data between computer networks. It also helps in providing high-
speed internet connectivity.
