6. This is the outboard engine as fitted to the J47 powered versions of the B-45.
When fitted with the J47 engine the aircraft became a more sprightly performer
although when fully loaded it could struggle until some fuel was burnt off.

shows, as the engine gauges are dominant although the main basic flight

whose sharp angles were prone to cracking due to the temperatures involved.
