The Securities Law Course 2020-21 exam for Paper-3 will be held online on May 8, 2021 from 3:30 pm to 5:40 pm. The exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions worth a total of 100 marks. It will be divided into three sections - three short answer questions from Modules 4 and 8 worth 15 marks total, three short answer questions from Modules 6 and 7 worth 15 marks total, and multiple choice questions from all modules worth 20 marks and 50 marks. In view of the ongoing pandemic the SLC management has confirmed that the Paper-3 examination shall be held in an online format. 1. SCHEDULE: The examination will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 3.30 pm. Reporting time will be 3.15 pm. 2. MARKS The total marks for Paper-3 shall be 100. 3. PAPER PATTERN for the year 2020-21 QUESTION A (Module 4 & 8) – Answer any three out of four “Short answer questions” 5 marks each. Total 15 marks QUESTION B (Module 6 & 7) – Answer any three out of four “Short answer questions” 5 marks each. Total 15 marks QUESTION C (Module 4,6,7 & 8) - All questions compulsory 10 questions in MCQ format for 2 marks each. Total 20 marks 50 questions in MCQ format for 1 mark each. Total 50 marks 4. EXAMINATION FORUM: The exam will be google form or similar. 5. DURATION: The time limit to complete the paper shall be 130 minutes. 6. NOTE: The paper pattern will not be like the ones in the previous years. However past years question papers albeit of a different paper pattern have already been circulated. They may be considered as indicative.
